The Spirit of Punta Gorda
Dedicated to the spirit of the people of Punta Gorda
in the aftermath of Hurricane Charley: August 13, 2004
The bent tree symbolizes the wind which stopped our downtown clock at 4:29 p.m.
Like the upright tree, the people stood tall.
